 The year is 2017.
The Dark Lord, Voldemort, was defeated almost nineteen years ago and now? Now the Wizarding world has something new to worry about; life. That's right, all anyone has to worry about these days is day to day life. Without the threat of dark powers at work, without death eaters picking off the weak and defenceless, people can feel secure in their homes and workplace. They can finally move on.
Or can they?
From the outside Hogwarts doesn't seem to have changed. The classes are the same, the halls are the same and the rules are the same...but the students have changed. Since the fall of the Dark Lord there have been whispers between kids. Whispers that maybe the reign of terror is only just picking back up and it's starting in the school. But it's not the Slytherins that are causing a stir, it's the Hufflepuffs.
For far too long they've felt everyone has underestimated them and now it's time for change. For now they're happy to follow in the Slytherin house's shadow, letting them take the rap for their trouble making. Getting a taste for what it's like before they start their eventual rise to power. Soon enough they'll want to run the school and then? Well once they've had a taste of power it'll go to their heads, just like it did with the Dark Lord, and then they'll start thinking bigger...
