The country of France was much different then England, and the doctor hadn’t been to France that many times, maybe once or twice he couldn’t remember, he might have been here when him and Holmes were working a case, but if they left England for cases they didn’t stay in places very long. In else in was in that town that there help was needed. People from all over the world come to see the great Sherlock Holmes, so Watson knew that his dear friend wouldn’t be too alone. But then again he knew Holmes would not take him leaving well, he would just shrug it off and tell anyone that asked that he was fine, the one thing that Watson knew was that Holmes was not the man to show how he was feeling. Never in his time he had known Holmes did he ever show much feeling, sure he knew Holmes cared for Watson life for example after the dock had been blow up, by the doctor’s mistake of letting his anger get to him. Holmes had come to the hospital and dressed as a doctor, Holmes being the master of many different looks. Mary had told him he had a really bad doctor, as John had after pulled out the rest of the metal in his back. Even though Mary hadn’t told him it was Holmes, he knew very well it had been Holmes. Any scar the doctor had on his body was worth it really. The world needed Sherlock Holmes, more then his humble side kick doctor. He was not as fit as Holmes, though John strength in his upper area’s he was not so fit when it came to running, or jumping out of buildings, that was all Holmes. Even since John had been wounded in the war, he walked with a limp and had to use a cane everywhere he walked.
Mary had sent him to France, because her parents had seen it would be a good place to either have the marriage or a place to go after the wedding. Watson didn’t know if he could move that for away from Holmes. I mean yes he was glad to be out of that house with him, but he still missed his brother even more. Holmes was always on his mind, there was never a time when the doctor wasn’t thinking about him. Time with the in laws, was well eventful. The last new weeks had been hell really. If he thought being in the war was hell, or the fact living with Holmes was hell when it wanted it to be. Meeting Mary’s parents was even worse. John liked them, truly he thought Mary’s parents were good hearted people, they just weren’t seeing there child marrying someone like Watson. They were expecting someone different, but they got Watson instead. But that’s what made Mary different then the other women he had been with, though the list was not long, there hadn’t been really any women before Mary, maybe a few that he knew, went out and did things with, but most of his life had been devoted to helping Holmes with his cases. But things had changed when he met Mary, she saw him for the brave and good hearted doctor he was. Mary didn’t care about the way he was. Well let’s just say after a few more days John had gotten her parents to like him more.
Even if him and Mary moved away from London he woud always make house calls to the city or anywhere else he was needed, once you are a doctor there no stopping being a doctor, there was nothing else Watson was good at. He couldn’t go out and find another job. And he made a promise he would visit Holmes when ever he was around the area, check up on him from time to time, because he knew really well how Holmes could be when he was bored. Now that was not a good thing Holmes being bored, he always had something he wanted to test and so on. Many of the tests had been to prove things from cases, and most of the time they were tested on the dog. It was a wonder the poor thing hadn’t passed on all ready. But John knew Holmes would never hurt he dog.
The faint sound of wood touched the ground as Watson walked down the streets of France looking for the shop Mary’s mother had said made fine things. He wanted to pick something nice out of Mary. Holmes had all right given them a ring, he did not dare question where he got such a thing, but Mary always like ear rings or a nice necklace. He smiled as he soon came upon the show and opened the door. Every time he walked, he walked with a limp and it could be heard across the wood floor as he walked deeper into the shop to look around, he cane tapping the ground as he walked looking at the many different necklaces and so on. There were so many to choose from he didn’t know which one she would like best. After this maybe he would head over to the tailor and pick something up for Holmes, after all he wasn’t going to forget his dear friend something.

France was a beautiful little city. This being said Jonathan had decided to take care of Quincy and Mina was on her own. Though she was a little iffy about leaving her husband and her son on their own. Waking one morning in France she got up and put on her dress and began to walk around the lovely city. Mina looked around and it was indeed a beautiful city as well. Very large as well. As she walked down the cobble stone streets she gave a sigh and didn't know what else to do with herself. Jonathan had been very good to her over the past year and it was time to have a break from her little family.
Sitting on a bench not to far away from Notre Dame's Cathedral, Mina looked around her surroundings and smiled softly. Everyone was very nice and she just needed some time on her own. Then she saw a familiar face. Rising she walked over to him to him and studied him as he wondered the streets. Though she couldn't think of his name at this point but she remained quiet for a while. Mina gave a sigh and she then worried about her husband and Quincy being alone. With that being said she was worried for her own safety.
Taking a breather she walked fourth and tapped the man on the shoulder hoping he'd turn around .Mina gave him a smile and she said "Excuse me sir. Forgive me, but you seem very familiar." she said softly to him. As she continued to talk to him. Also she was studying him at the same time. "You look like an old friend of mine. Dr. John Watson from London" she said softly looking upon him. Mina didn't know what else to say at this point. She wondered if this man was really him or not.
{{ Crappy I know. Im sorry but I'll get better as we go along }}
