Personality: Hermione is the 'smartest witch of her age'. As such she is incredibly clever and exceedingly bright. Often clinging to books of any form, shape or size, Hermione's photographic-memory enables her to recall most anything she's read or studied word-for-word. This only aids in Hermione's brainy ways. Though the witch isn't boastful or cocky, she does take her intelligence heavily and doesn't enjoy being outsmarted.
Hermione is incredibly loyal. Already in her short life she's went through hell and back for the sake of her friends. Bravery comes soon after trustworthiness for this young witch. She isn't in Gryffindor House for nothing, you know. Hermione's bravery have showed her to be incredibly resourceful and 'brilliant' - as Ronald would put it - when things look bleakest. In the midst of utmost chaos, Hermione is the member of the trio to keep a level head.
Weapons: Wand: Vine, 10¾", dragon heartstring core.
Skills: Hermione is known as the 'smartest' or 'cleverest witch of her age'. She is incredibly skilled at magic - capable of spells even grown wizards are unable to. Hermione is also a highly logical thinker, and incredibly intelligent.
Mother: ___ Granger.
Father: ___ Granger.
Siblings: None.
History: Hermione Jean Granger grew up the book-worm only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Granger, who were both prodigious dentists. In school Hermione could not be bested and she spent most of her childhood reading and spending sunny days with her parents, forging worthy memories of love and togetherness. Despite this, Hermione was usually the object of teasing at school and lived daily with bullies. What more... she was capable of some peculiar things...
After a few incidents which seemed nothing short of magical, a letter arrived for Hermione and soon after a visit by Professor Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall. It was revealed to Hermione and her parents that she was a witch! Soon afterward Hermione began schooling at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. There the girl met Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter. After an incident with a cave troll, the three became lasting friends. This friendship would shape her future...
After assisting in the protection of the Sorcerer's Stone, Hermione came back for her second year at Hogwarts. During this term, the witch lived under the terror of the Chamber of Secrets and the Heir of Slytherin. Eventually Hermione discovered the secret of the Chamber, but was petrified before she was capable of telling anyone. Harry and Ronald went on to best the Heir and save Ron's younger sister, not without Hermione's knowledge to guide them.
In her third year, Hermione utilized a Time-Turner to attend all the classes she signed up for. In this year Hermione was a key figure in discovering the secret of the Prisoner of Azkaban and the saving of Sirius Black, an innocent man proven guilty. Hermione assisted Harry in his trek through the Triwizard Tournament in the year after and even dueled legions of Death Eaters in the Battle of the Hall of Prophecies in the next year. Finally in the past year at Hogwarts, Hermione fought in the Flight of the Astronomy Tower, where Albus Dumbledore was murdered by Professor Severus Snape.
Since then, Hermione along with her two greatest friends have begun preparing to hunt down the Horcruxes of Lord Voldemort, and as dark times crush around their ears they will be driven to the brink of destruction...

How did you find us?: Sherlockity!
RP Example: The young witch stepped nervously from the depths of the now-darkened house. Privet Drive, with its neatly trimmed lawns and well kept houses reminded her painfully of the very neighborhood that she had been raised. Though, Hermione noted, for a place that looked so similar, this ambling road held no cherished memories for Harry. She wrinkled her nose in distaste toward the Dursleys. To think that a family could treat someone so cruel - let alone their own nephew.
But here is where Hermione's swift mind proved a nuisance. No matter of disapproving thought toward Harry's relatives could dissuade her concentration on what was soon to come. Others in the empty house behind her still ran through Mad-Eye's plan with others while still more continued assembling their disguises as Harry himself. Oh, yes. Another thing worthy of note. Though it was indeed Hermione Jean Granger standing with arms crossed against the cold night before number four, Privet Drive, no one else would be able to perceive that. To all others, Hermione was not to be seen, hidden flawlessly beneath Harry Potter's face and clothes - all in thanks to a clever Polyjuice Potion and an even cleverer scheme.
Hermione watched from her post just outside the front door as Kingsley Shacklebolt caressed one of the Thestral's beak-like snouts. At least, that is what Hermione could suppose, not being able to see them. The sounds of content snorting helped to solidify this theory, however. The teenager shivered involuntarily. The creatures still inspired a deal of unease in her, even more so without being able to see them. To think, she was to ride one of them again! The flight to the Ministry might have occurred two years ago, but it still made Hermione's heart flutter nervously.
As sounds to Hermione's back heralded the approach of the rest of the present Order, she quickly composed her features - which were actually Harry's at the moment. It really was quite disorienting in another person's skin. Something as simple as the length of your arms or legs became a chore. Already Hermione had tripped once and hit herself squarely on the nose two times upon trying to push a copy of Harry's glasses higher on her nose. If they met trouble - as Mad-Eye clearly expected - not only would Hermione be forced to duel while airborne, but with limbs that were not her own. It didn't take a mind such as hers to recognize the unfavorable odds.
Hermione was shaken from these disheartening thoughts as Moody shuffled past her leaning heavily on his staff with a grunt. Before she had time to mutter an apology a steady stream of fellow Harry-impersonators' and their designated handlers came from the innards of Number Four. One who tripped roughly and was grasped by an assisting Tonks looked up at her for a moment. "Hermione?" The witch's surprise at being recognized by a voice who was clearly Ronald's was forced to dissipate as Mad-Eye's voice rang out in gravelly tones; "Take point!"
The hand that was not her own reached in to pants that weren't hers and grasped the only familiar thing still with her - her wand. Sliding the thing from the pants pocket, Hermione followed Ron (who was smiling in a failed attempt at reassurance to her) over the front lawn, stepped neatly across the low garden wall, and moved to position herself beside Kingsley. "Mount!" Moody's order was obeyed immediately as some mounted brooms, Harry (the real one, this time) and Hagrid settled on the flying motorcycle and others mounted Thestrals.
Kingsley climbed on the the back of the winged beast as if he did so every day and offered Hermione his arm. She grasped it with the ghost of a thankful smile playing across her nervous face before being pulled in to place behind the Auror. Hermione snaked one shaking hand around Kingsley's torso to steady herself and kept her wand arm free and at the ready. Mad-Eye's voice came again; "Go!" Hermione suffocated a whimper before it escaped her lips as the sound of wings she could not see beat the air ferociously.
The Thestral took off at a full run and flung itself in to the air with speedy precision. Hermione glanced around Kingsley's arm to see the force of brooms before them. Another sideways look assured that Bill and Fleur were to their left while Hagrid and Harry came up behind them. The scene of Privet Drive was ripped out from under them, and Hermione was offered a perfect view of the ground through her invisible stead. The road itself turned in to nothing but a dark ribbon against the earth, and soon was invisible completely, leaving nothing but a patchwork of lights across all visible land so far below.
The young witch bit her lip and repressed the urge to press her face in to the back of Kingsley to shut out the image. She had to stay alert. Gripping her wand so tightly that the tip steamed, Hermione's eyes darted around wildly in search of something anything that might prove hostile. The noise of their flying companions was abruptly muted. Hermione gasped audibly as they pierced a dark cloud and everything was cast away, leaving nothing but freezing cold vapor beating across her.
More abrupt and unexpected then the sudden silence was when the film of cloud was torn away. Light flashed across Hermione's vision as she struggled to perceive her surroundings. They were in a pocket of clear sky with clouds churning madly on all sides. What was more pressing however, were the sea of black figures mounted on brooms pursuing anyone Hermione could call a 'friend'. They had been found out and ambushed, indeed immediately after beginning the mission! Hermione would have screamed, if only breath hadn't left her lungs.
Kingsley saw the miniature war with cold eyes. One hand steadying the Thestral beneath them, his wand flashed through the air like a sword. Light flashed from its tip and a sound of crackling electricity hissed against the night as the spell he unleashed washed across a Death Eater who was tailing Fleur and Bill. Hermione watched with awe, but as Kingsley sent their Thestral climbing vertically toward the hidden stars, she noticed that exactly three more Death Eaters had fallen in to place behind them.
Instinct had Hermione almost call out to Kingsley. Thankfully her logical mind took over. If Shacklebolt couldn't concentrate on getting them to their destination safely, then they would surly die this very night. She was there to help him, and without worrying about steering a Thestral, she was free to spellcast as much as possible. Hermione took a deep and bracing breath as spells flashed through the clouds around her and yells filled the air. Prepared (however well she could be) the girl whirled around, straining her torso, and her wand sliced the air open behind her.
Cloud of Hermione's conjuring exploded in their wake, obscuring their hostile pursuers and hopefully causing them to stray off course. She was immediately thwarted! The miniature nimbus disappeared with the merest wave of a Death Eater's wand. Kingsley's deep voice came over the sound of rushing wind, spells and screams. "Offensive!" With that word the man turned round and lashed is own wand through the air. Two of the Death Eaters blocked the oncoming curse, but the third was hit by the brunt of it, dropping his limp body like a stone, accompanied on his descent by the shattered remains of his broom.
"I know you can do it!" Hermione's wide-eyed expression turned steely at these words from Kingsley. She had been useless up until this moment! As three more enemies grouped behind them, Hermione blocked a barrage of curses with a stubborn Shielding Charm. "Offensive," she muttered under her breath, "right." Hermione instinctually batted away an oncoming curse with a twitch of her wand and - heartened by this - bit her lip in concentration. "Confringo!" Violet light washed from her wand like a water through a broken dam. Most of the Death Eaters managed to block the Blasting Curse, but two of their five were overwhelmed and followed their erstwhile companion on a one-way trip to the earth.
Hermione smiled in spite of herself. Feeling more capable by the minute, she gave her wand a complicated gesture while her brow furrowed in concentration. Brown smoke hissed from her wand. But this time, instead of filling the air, it grouped instantly together to form a small force earthen shards that were thrust like missiles toward Hermione's enemies. Most were blocked, but some penetrated flesh and left trails of crimson draining in to the air. One Death Eater fell back to attend to his gaping skin.
Things were looking much better! No longer did other dueling fliers streak past frantically, they seemed to be far enough along to their safe-house to be on their own. Hermione didn't know if this was a good point. Another positive thought was that now only three enemies remained in pursuit of them. She blocked another volley of spells and countered with a Petrification Jinx that sent a rigid Death Eater out of the skies. Two more! Hermione put up a powerful Shielding Charm to deflect a powerful curse and was just starting to feel hopeful when the worst possible thing happened...
From the depths of the clouds behind them, a single figure mounted on a broom appeared, gaining on them quickly. The Death Eaters glanced back and seemed to be reinvigorated, because they took to the offensive at once. Kingsley turned around for a look and his jaw set in a frightening way. The wizard gave his wand two swift twirls above his head and a wave of silver energy flooded the air, knocking all three Death Eaters from their brooms and sending them in to the cloud banks below.
The broom-mounted stranger was much closer now, though, and Hermione looked back with eyes filled with fear. A lip of cloud vanished behind the pursuer and the teenager found she had lost her breath anew. Bellatrix Lestrange, hair wet and matted to her face and an expression of utmost glee on her dark face, was now their only remaining enemy. "Avada Kedavra!" she screeched in happily to the night. Emerald light exploded like a bolt of lightning toward Hermione and Kingsley. On a whim, Hermione gave her wand a shaky flick.
Conjuring was always one of her specialties. From nowhere at all a decent sized boulder appeared in the air, directly between the Killing Curse and herself. Hermione was left with no time to feel relieved. The emerald bolt hit her conjured boulder and caused it to shatter in to a million needle-like shards. Kingsley tried to protect them from the things, but too late. Hermione felt pain in fine lines scatter across her arms and face. Blood dripped down her face and scalded the cheeks that were numbed from the cold.
Bellatrix, on the other hand, was not thrilled. She had managed to shield herself from the deadly debris and was readily preparing another curse. It flew from her wand and Hermione was too tired and too unprepared to defend herself - Kingsley trying to get the Thestral to go even faster! But wait! The spell hit tin air just as Hermione felt a wave of magic overcome her body! Bellatrix was forced in to a sudden nose-dive to evade the magical enchantments and barriers! The Thestral slowed and glided in a lazy circular motion before touching to the ground. They were alive! Alive! Hermione felt faint...[/blockquote][/justify]
