Mary Poppins
The wind blows where it will and Mary Poppins is never far behind. Here you can see where it has taken her and possibly where it might be going… I’m always keen for smashing ideas!
Current Wanderings: (Open Threads)
The Wind Blows (w/ Sherlock Holmes)
The Mystery in the Wind (w/ Sally Lockhart)
The Marrying Kind (w/ Sherlock Holmes)
On the East Wind: (Plots & Ideas)
The Painting Theft:
Participants: Dorian Gray/Mary Poppins/Irene Adler/Sherlock Holmes
The game is afoot, as Mr Holmes would say. I seem to have put my foot in it this time… Embroiling myself in Sherlock’s investigation may have been unwise. Now, we’re facing the unnerving Mr Gray’s concerns about his potential love-interest, one Irene Adler, and Mr Holmes may not be able to see the wood for the trees. I shall make it my job to point it out.
The Missing Photographer:
Participants: Mary Poppins/Sally Lockhart
Well, it seems that a change of scenery might be more than a challenge to Miss Lockhart as she discovers just how much has changed between 1876 and 1910 and learns some shocking truths about her future. She is no longer content to simply return to her time. Perhaps there is something that can be done to alter history, with a little finesse and the help of a brand new (but rather tricky) acquaintance? Of course, there is the delicate situation of not destroying the fabric of time and space. I do love a challenge…
A Duty Failed:
Participants: Mary Poppins/Open
Calamity of calamities. The worst has happened. A charge of mine has vanished without a trace. Since it was on my watch, I am, of course, totally responsible. A nanny who cannot hang onto a child has no more use than a faceless actor. However, there is definitely something amiss… Children do not simply wander out of my care. Something sinister must have happened to the child. But what could it be?
The Roaring ‘20s:
Participants: Mary Poppins/Open
Since my little escapade with Mr Holmes, I have become somewhat intrigued by the power of the East Wind. While I’ve traversed it for years, always at its changeable mercy, its reach has convinced me that it can be used for so much more than a flight between charges. I fancy, with a little practice, a touch of something special and large helpings of luck, I might be able to make more adventurous use of it. Perhaps, I could even manage a little company…
